How To Use the Keyword Planner


If you are affected by market changes, we recommend planning weekly instead of monthly or quarterly until the markets are stable.

Keyword planner predictions are updated daily and are adjusted by season, based on the last 7-10 days. Your conjectures will consider any effect of market changes during this time period. We have updated our seasonal model to suit current market conditions.

You can use this free tool to discover new keywords related to your business and see the estimates of the searches they receive and the cost of targeting them.

Keyword Planner also provides another way to create search campaigns that focus on in-depth keyword research.

This article shows you how to use Keyword Planner to lay the foundation for a successful campaign.

It is important to keep in mind that while a keyword planner can provide insights into a keyword target, campaign performance depends on a variety of factors. For example, your bid, budget, product, and customer attitude in your industry can all influence the success of your campaigns.


Instructions

To access the Keyword Planner:

Your account is using Expert mode. If your account is using Smart mode, you will not be able to access your Word Planner.

You will need to complete your account setup by entering your billing information and creating a campaign. If you are not yet ready to spend the money, you may choose to pause your campaigns.

  • Plan keywords
  • Once you open Keyword Planner, there are 2 ways to plan your keywords:
  • Find new keywords by clicking Discover New Keywords.
  • Upload existing keywords by clicking Get Search Volume and Prediction.

  • 1. Get ideas for new keywords.
  • 2. Edit your list of keyword ideas.
  • 3. Include keywords in your plan and see performance predictions
  • 4.Get search volume and predictions.
  • 5. Add keywords to the plan and see the forecast
  • 6. Understand your keyword predictions.

Your plan forecast shows you how many conversions, clicks, or impressions you are likely to get for your keywords based on your spend.


Understand your predictions.

Your forecast is available on the "Forecast" page of your plan. This includes keywords that you have uploaded via "Get Search Volume and Predictions" or that you have added from the "Keyword Ideas" page.


What's in your prediction?

Best performance predictions for all keywords based on your spend.

Change the metric you are predicting by clicking "Convert" or "Clicks". It is available to you when you enable conversion tracking in your account. In any case, click Add Conversion Metrics to survey the choices.

  • Change the average daily budget by clicking on the amount.
  • Change your bidding strategy by clicking the "Maximum Clicks" dropdown.
  • Click on the drop down arrow to see your estimated performance chart based on your costs.
  • Gauges for every individual catchphrase in view of the "expand clicks" offering procedure.
  • Edit the amount in the "normal everyday spending plan" to perceive how these assessments change.
  • Ad groups that include your keywords in a new campaign if you implement your plan.
  • Date range for your prediction.
  • Click the date range at the top of the page to change the time frame for your forecast.
  • Additional options
  • Add new keywords by tapping the in addition to fasten and entering new Keyword. You can also go back to the "Keyword Ideas" page and add keywords from there.
  • Download the forecast by clicking the download button.
  • Share the plan with others by clicking the share button and enabling share access.
  • Build a campaign based on your plan


Create a campaign

You can create and implement your plan as a campaign.

  1. You can create a campaign from the Predictions, Saved Keywords, or Negative Keywords page.
  2. Click Create Campaign near the top corner.
  3. Name your campaign.
  4. Select the recommended daily budget based on the best performance from your plan forecast, or enter the budget as needed.
  5. Click Save.

After clicking "Save", your prediction plan will be changed to a new campaign on the "Campaigns" page of your account. Click "View Campaign" to access your new campaign settings.

Once you've implemented your plan as a campaign, you can still access its predictions from the Tools icon under Keyword Planner. However, you will be able to change the keywords of this plan within the new campaign you have created.
